SAIL has scheduled an auction for 500 t of steel grade pig iron (by road) for 26 Oct’21 from IISCO Steel Plant. Limited allocation for auctions by SAIL is due to low realisation as against semis and finished steel products. At the previous auction on 6 Oct, 1,000 t of pig iron had been booked at a weighted average price of INR 44,300/t exw.
