India: JSW Steel posts crude steel output at 4.10 mn t in Q2 FY’22

JSW’s crude steel production stood at 4.10 mn t in Q2 FY’22 at par with Q1, as per the company’s BSE disclosure.

• Flat-rolled production stood at 2.79 mn t, down 5% as against 2.94 mn t in Q1
• Long steel output dropped 4% to 0.92 mn t in Q2 versus 0.96 mn t in Q1.
• Production declined due to planned shutdowns at the Vijayanagar and Salem works.
