The average portside prices of South African RB2 (5500 NAR) coal was assessed at INR 18,100/t today against INR 19,300/t on 18 Oct’21 at Gangavaram and Vizag ports. Offers from a few traders were heard even lower at INR 17,000-17,500/t. Amid the $11/t drop in RB1 (6000 NAR) grade coal prices over the last two days, and buyers getting into wait-and-watch mode, sellers have reduced RB2 prices.
