At SAIL’s auction for 10,000 t of basic grade pig iron on 20 Oct’21 from Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) buyers booked the entire quantity at a weighted average price of INR 43,490/t exw. Bid prices slumped marginally to INR 210/t ($2/t) compared to the previous auction on 5 Oct, which had been concluded at a weighted average price of INR 43700/t exw.
