April imports of Manganese Ore into India fell 16% m-o-m to 0.12 MnT against 0.14 MnT in March '13, according to data released by India's Customs.
India imported through South Africa around 50,616 MT with an average price of 251 $/t – which is down by 31% , in quantity 73,300 MT in past month, imports from Gabon stand at 27,741 MT with an average price of 247 $/t, Australia contribute to 25,197 MT with an average price of 230 $/t – which is down by 26% at 34,200 MT ,and China approx 17,200 MT with an average price of 232 $/t.
The eastern port of Kolkata and Vizag received at 61,800 MT and 57,100 MT of Manganese Ore respectively and remaining quantities were shipped to other ports.
