Iran: Slab exports rise twofold during first six months of Persian year

Slab exports by Iran have edged up sharply by more than twofold in the first six months of the current Persian year (Mar’21- Sep’21), as per SteelMint data. Exports have reached 1.17 mn t against 0.583 mn t in the same period last year. Improved quality of manufactured products prepared the ground for Iranian companies to make their presence felt in the global markets.
