Vizag Steel conducted an auction for 1,500 t of basic grade pig iron on 16 Oct’21. As per sources, on a higher base price set by the company’s management, buyers booked only 600 t at INR 45,100/t exw. As per SteelMint reports, the steelmaker’s previous pig iron auction conducted on 9 Oct for around 2,300 t of material was concluded at INR 45,050/t exw.
