SAIL has scheduled an auction for 10,000 t of steel grade pig iron from the Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) in Chhattisgarh on 20 Oct’21. At the previous auction on 5 Oct, 12,000 t of material was booked at a weighted average price of INR 43,700/t exw, as per SteelMint reports. Bids had increased by INR 3,550/t ($47/t) compared to an earlier auction on 22 Sep.
