- POSCO, South Korea’s leading steelmaker, has lifted its scrap purchase prices, as per latest reports by Steel Daily.
- The purchase price for POSCO’s Gwangyang works has been increased by KRW 15,000/t ($13).
- Currently prices for compressed saengcheol scrap is at KRW 680,000/t ($575).
- While KRW 620,000/t ($524) is the price of weight A material, lightweight compression scrap prices are at KRW 595,000/t ($503).
