India: Sponge iron prices fall by INR 300/t in Bellary

Sponge P-DRI (FeM 80%) prices in Karnataka’s Bellary dropped by INR 300/t on 13 Oct’21. Sponge C-DRI prices, too, fell by INR 300/t in today’s trade, as per SteelMint reports.

• Around 1,300 t of P-DRI deals were confirmed at INR 36,700/t against offers at INR 37,000/t exw.

• SteelMint’s price assessment for C-DRI stands at INR 37,100/t ($492) with around 1,500 t deals reported.
