Russian thermal coal producer and exporter Suek AG has declared force majeure after the fire broke out at the Vanino Bulk Terminal, as per the latest notification. Two conveyor belts have been severely affected by the fire, making coal loading operations almost impossible at the port. Currently, all vessel loading operations from the port have been halted, while shipments via railways remain unaffected.
