With easing of heavy rainfall in China, 56 out of 60 coal mines that had suspended operations in Shanxi province on 5 Oct’21 have resumed coal production and are set to honour long-term coal supply contracts, as per latest reports quoting the provincial government. The four suspended coal mines have a combined capacity of 4.8 mn t/annum.
