A western India-based major pig iron producer has concluded a tender for one rake of foundry grade material on 11 Oct’21 at around INR 48,000-48,200/t FOR siding in Delhi, sources reported. Bids remained strong following higher pig iron prices across regions due to elevated coal and coke prices along with rising steel prices. Current offers are at INR 49,400-49,600/t on delivered to Delhi basis (including local freight).
