At SAIL’s auction for 2,000 t (one rake) of basic grade pig iron on 12 Oct’21 from Bokaro Steel Plant, the entire quantity was booked at a weighted average price of INR 45,650/t exw, the highest till now. Bid prices increased by INR 1650/t ($21/t) compared to the previous auction on 6 Oct which was concluded at a weighted average price of INR 44,000/t exw.
