Portside trading activity for South African RB2 (5500 NAR) grade coal remained largely muted today as sponge iron manufacturers avoided any major bookings in order to assess the volatility in imported coal prices, as per CoalMint reports. Traders, on the other hand, continued to offer RB2 at INR 18,000-18,500/t at Gangavaram Port. Prices are minus cess and GST.
