Central India-based rebar producers raise gauge parity

Manufacturers in Raipur and Raigarh have revised the rebar gauge parity. Gauge differences have been increased by INR 1,000/t from 11 Oct’21 for all sizes (10-25 mm stands at INR 4,000/t, whereas 8 mm and 32 mm are at INR 5,000/t) to improve the conversion spread, which is declining for the past five months. Conversion spread was around INR 3,000-3,100/t before the revision of gauge parity.
