Heavy structural steel prices in Raipur have increased by INR 1,500/t, as per latest reports. The current offer for 150 mm channel stands at INR 55,000/t exw. Mounting raw material prices nudged mills to raise their offers in order to maintain conversion spreads. Trade participants informed SteelMint that prices are likely to strengthen parallelly with raw material prices.
