Steel major SAIL has scheduled an auction for 2,000 t (one rake) of basic grade pig iron to be held on 12 Oct’21 from the company’s Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL). At the previous auction on 6 Oct, 6,000 t of pig iron was booked at INR 44,000/t exw. Bid prices increased by INR 1,150/t ($15/t) compared to an earlier auction conducted on 29 Sep.
