A western India-based pig iron producer’s tender for one rake of foundry grade material on 7 Oct’21 was concluded at around INR 44,500-44,600/t ex-plant, equivalent to INR 48,000-48,200/t FOR Phillaur siding in Punjab. Bids dropped slightly against Tata Metaliks’ tender on 6 Oct which had concluded at INR 48,600/t FOR Phillaur. Current offers through traders are at INR 48,500-48,700/t on delivered to Ludhiana basis.
