State-owned Vizag Steel has scheduled an e-auction for around 2,300 t of steel grade pig iron on 9 Oct’21.The steelmaker’s previous pig iron auction conducted on 5 Oct for around 2,000 t of material was concluded at INR 43,500/t exw. Domestic pig iron prices are at historical highs on the sustained rally in coking coal and met coke prices.
