State-owned leading long steel producer, Vizag Steel, held an auction for 2,000 t of pooled iron, cast iron (CI) scrap and pig casting machine (PCM) scrap on 7 Oct’21. Buyers booked the entire quantity of PCM at INR 40,100/t, CI scrap at INR 39,000/t, PCM fines at INR INR 28,500/t, pooled iron fines at INR 22,100/t, and pooled iron chunks at INR 38,800/t exw.
