Portside trading activity for South African RB2 (5500 NAR) grade coal remained largely muted today, as traders kept to the sidelines to assess the volatility in imported coal prices that fell today morning but picked up towards end of day. Enquiries from sponge iron manufacturers also remained limited, market participants informed CoalMint.
