Turkey: Finished flat steel exports jump 17% on month in Aug’21

Turkey’s flat steel exports jumped 17% to 0.75 mn t in Aug’21 compared to 0.64 mn t in Jul, as per customs data.

• HRC/plate exports were at 0.26 mn t, up 23% on month
• Exports of CRC and pipes and tubes moved up 12% and 17%, respectively.
• Galvanised and electrical steel exports fell to 220,000 t and 19,000 t, respectively, in Aug.
