Brazil: Finished flat steel exports down 6%, m-o-m, in Sep’21

Flat steel exports by Brazil declined 6%, m-o-m, to 0.15 mn t in Sep’21 compared to 0.16 mn t in Aug.

• Exports of HRC/plate increased by 16% to 81,904 t in Sep, while pipes and tubes exports increased to 37,529 t (up 122%) and CRC exports reached 2,482 t.
• Galvanised steel exports dropped 78% to 14,430 t.
• Export destinations were Argentina, Paraguay and the US.
