The IF rebar market witnessed weak buying enquiries and trading activity today. Prices fluctuated in the range of INR 100-600/t, d-o-d, across locations. SteelMint observed price disparity between traders and manufacturers. High prices restrained buying; while traders had to offer discounts, producers needed to adjust prices, as per material availability. Weak sentiments in the semi-finished steel market also put a brake on spot trading activity, SteelMint notes.
