At SAIL’s auction for 12,000 t of basic grade pig iron on 5 Oct’21 from Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP), the entire quantity was booked at a weighted average price of INR 43,700/t exw. Bid prices increased by INR 3,550/t ($47/t) compared to the previous auction on 22 Sep, which had concluded at a weighted average price of INR 40,150/t exw.
