Sponge P-DRI (FeM 80%) prices in Karnataka’s Bellary region rose by INR 600/t on 5 Oct’21. Prices strengthened due to a significant surge in coal prices. Around 1,150 t of P-DRI deals were confirmed at INR 35,300-35,600/t against offers at INR 36,000/t exw. Offers for C-DRI stand at INR 36,000/t ($483) and around 1,400 t of deals have been reported.
