India: SAIL increases HRC, CRC prices for Oct’21 deliveries

SAIL has reportedly increased list prices for HRC and CRC by INR 1,500/t ($20/t) for Oct’21, sources informed.

Current prices:

• HRC stands at INR 67,500-68,000/t ($908-915/t)
• CRC stands at INR 77,000-77,500/t ($1,036-1,043/t)
• Prices are on exy-Mumbai basis, excluding GST at 18%

SAIL increased prices on steep coking coal prices and the anticipated hike in demand during the festive season, SteelMint notes.
