Brazil: Iron ore exports fall by 10%, y-o-y, in Sep’21

Brazil has reported an increase in iron ore and pellet export volumes in Sep’21. According to Brazil customs, export volumes stood at 33.7 mn t in Sep, down 10% on the year as against 37.5 mn t in Sep’20. However, the provisional data considers only 21 working days. The average price of iron ore exported from Brazil in Sep stood at $120.7/t on FOB basis.
