SteelMint’s assessment for Raipur sponge P-DRI (FeM 80%) rose by INR 1,800/t to INR 33,000/t exw. Amidst higher coal prices, suppliers raised offers significantly; however, the buyers seemed to have turned cautious due to a sharp surge in prices.
- Around 3,000 t of P-DRI deals were reported at INR 32,900-33,000/t on exw and FOR Raipur basis. DR-CLO grade sponge offers were in the range of INR 36,000-36,200/t exw.
