Japan: Pipe, tube exports touch 90,000 t in Aug’21

The world’s third largest steelmaker, Japan, has recorded 33%, m-o-m, increase in total export volumes of pipes and tubes to 93,270 t in Aug’21 compared to 70,121 t in Jul, as SteelMint deduced from customs data. Meanwhile, total imports stood at 11,058 t in Aug, down 32%, m-o-m, while the same had edged down by nearly 10% to 123,984 t in the year-ago period.
