SteelMint confirmed 2,400 t of sponge P-DRI deals and 2,500 t of billet deals by plants in Ramgarh, Jharkhand. After the deals were concluded, the plants raised offers by INR 100-200/t.
- Average deal price for P-DRI reported at INR 29,700-29,800/t, while billet sold at INR 43,000-43,200/t exw.
- Jharkhand-based plants are expecting semis prices to remain strong due to slightly better demand for finished products, especially re-bars.
