India: Tata Steel joins Sea Cargo Charter to rein in emissions

Steel major Tata Steel has joined the Sea Cargo Charter (SCC) on 3 Sep’21 in a bid to reduce ‘Scope 3’ greenhouse gas emissions in ocean trade, the company informed through a release recently. Tata Steel is the world’s first steel producer and the 24th organisation in the world to join the association with a view to reducing environmental impacts of global seaborne cargo.
