SAIL-Bhilai Steel Plant’s steel melting shop 3 (SMS-3) set a new record of 60 heats/day producing 10,409 t of crude steel on 24 Sep’21, surpassing the previous record of 58 heats on 21 Sep, as per latest reports from SAIL sources. Director of Bhilai Steel Plant Anirban Dasgupta congratulated the SMS 3 team and support staff as well as associated departments for the record-breaking performance.
