According to a CBC report, Hunan province has shut down 9 electrolytic manganese enterprises, withdrawing 111,000 t of production capacity of the country. The province has accelerated the promotion of mining consolidation and integration, and has also been shortlisted for the public announcement of the green mining development demonstration zone by the Ministry of Natural Resources. Electrolytic manganese is used in the production of Ferro manganese.
