According to data furnished by the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), the average daily crude steel output of key steel enterprises in mid-Sep’21 stood at 1.99 mn t, which was a decrease of 53,600 t, or 2.62%, month-on-month. Notably, daily steel production has decreased by 7.19%, year-on-year. China’s steel production in Aug stood at 83.20 mn t – down 13.2%, y-o-y.
