SteelMint’s assessment for Raipur sponge P-DRI fell slightly by INR 50/t to INR 30,550/t exw. Lower bids amidst limited participation resulted in the price correction today. However, further decline seems unlikely due to higher coal prices along with sufficient orders with suppliers.
- About 2,500 t of P-DRI deals were confirmed at INR 30,500-30,600/t as against offers of INR 30,600-30,800/t on exw and FOR Raipur basis.
