India: Sponge iron demand active in Bellary on falling prices

Sponge prices in Karnataka’s Bellary fell by INR 150/t on 21 Sep’21. However, demand remained active on falling prices, SteelMint notes. Sponge C-DRI prices are at INR 30,600-30,700/t ($416) and around 2,300 t of deals were confirmed at INR 30,500-30,700/t exw. In addition, about 3,400 t of P-DRI deals were reported at INR 29,800-30,000/t against offers at INR 30,000-30,200/t exw-Bellary.
