Steel major SAIL held an auction for 8,280 t of iron scrap from Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) on 20 Sep’21. Out of the total offered quantity, 5,120 t of iron scrap (recovery 70-80%) was booked at a weighted average price of INR 37,150/t exw. Rest of the offered material was mixed with slag which got booked at INR 35,600/t exw.
