IF re-bar prices increased by INR 100-500/t, d-o-d, in the key locations today, except in western India where lack of demand created selling pressure and forced manufacturers to reduce offers. In other markets, a marginal rise in semi-finished steel prices nudged sellers to increase their offers. Prices in the near term may fluctuate depending on billet prices and buying enquiries, sources informed.
