Tata Metaliks has raised pig iron prices by INR 1,700-1,800/t ($23-24/t), or up to 4.6%, due to higher coke prices and an INR 2,000/t rise in prices announced by the private producers.
- Fresh offers for foundry grade pig iron are at INR 43,600/t, up INR 1,700/t, while basic grade (Si 1-1.15%) offers stand at INR 41,000/t, up INR 1,800/t exw-Kharagpur. Prices are applicable for the Kolkata and Howrah markets.
