Vietnamese integrated steel major Formosa Ha Tinh (FHS) has reportedly lowered hot-rolled coil (HRC) prices for Nov’21 delivery. The current offer for HRC (skin pass) stands at $930-935/t CIF, down $25/t on monthly basis compared to $955-960/t CIF for Oct deliveries. The company has revised prices due to weak demand amid surging covid-19 cases, stringent lockdowns in the country, and drop in imported HRC offers to Vietnam.
