State-owned Steel Authority of India Ltd. (SAIL) has scheduled an auction on 15 Sept’21 for 300 t (0-3mm and 3-10mm) of silico manganese from its Chandrapur Ferro Alloy Plant in Maharashtra. At the previous auction from the plant on 8 Sept, buyers booked only one lot of 3-10mm material at INR 75,930/t exw. Bids decreased by INR 1,320/t ($17/t). SteelMint’s daily silico manganese (25-150mm, 60-14) index was assessed at INR 92,500/t exw-Raipur on 10 Sept’21.
