Iron ore concentrate production at Iran’s Chadormalu complex for the first five months (Apr-Aug’21) of the current Islamic year reached 5.13 mn t, up 10% compared to the year-ago period, according to Iranian media reports. The increase in production is due to increase in efficiency of the performance of machinery and equipment. Given the current level of production, total iron ore concentrate output is expected to reach 6 mn t by end-Sept’21.
