South India-based pellet maker KIOCL has concluded an export deal for 55,000 t of pellets (Fe 63% and 2% Al) today via tender. The deal was heard concluded at $160/t FoB for non-Chinese destination towards end of last week. The company’s last tender, held towards mid-Aug was heard concluded at $172/t FoB, with the shipment, most probably, to the Middle East. The company operates a 3.5 mn t/year pellet plant in Mangalore, Karnataka.
