China: Billet import prices rise in recent deals

Prices of imported billets to China have risen by $5-10/t in recent deals concluded from Vietnam and the Middle East, SteelMint learnt from sources.
A Vietnam-based mill concluded an export deal for 20,000 t BF route billets at $660/t FoB (equivalent to $690/t CFR China).
A deal for Middle East-origin billets was also heard concluded at $695/t CFR China recently.
