Indian high carbon Ferro Chrome prices remain subdued over weak demand from stainless steel manufacturers. Industry participants highlight that current offers for 58-60% Chrome ore are hovering around Rs 66,500-67,000/t Ex-Works.
They also mention that if demand continues to remain weak, prices can correct upto Rs 1000/t by end of this month. Meanwhile a manufacturer based on Eastern India claims to have sold HC FeCr to Thailand at 0.97USD/lbs CIF Thailand.
