Turkey: Flat steel exports drop 10% on month in Jul’21

Turkey’s finished flat steel export volumes stood at 640,194 t in Jul’21, down 10% against 708,637 t in the preceding month, as per customs data accessed by SteelMint.

Highlights:

• HRC exports rose 14%, m-o-m, to 216,142 t in Jul compared to 189,727 t in Jun.
• CRC export volumes were at 46,217 t, down 30% versus 66,486 t in the preceding month.
• The major export destinations were Italy and Spain followed by Romania and the United states.
