Structure prices In Raipur falls sharply by Rs 200-400/MT

Delay in Government projects payment affected heavy structure demand in Central India (Raipur). Unlike earlier month when manufacturers and traders supplied material to Hyderabad in bulk quantity, this month from beginning supply is down. “We haven’t received payment of H-beam supplied last month to Hyderabad to electricity projects, due to which no further booking is done and overall sale is down” said well known supplier in Raipur. Today H-beam 152X152MM is offered at Rs 32,800-33,000/MT that is down by Rs 400-500/MT over a week time.

Various well do brands of Raipur also reduces their prices in range of Rs 200-600/MT over last week price. Whereas small mill owners have reduced prices by Rs 500-600/MT, as they continue to offer discount to book sales.

Today Beam 300 MM is offer at Rs 32,000-32,600/MT and Beam 600MM at Rs 34,700-35,700/MT for 250MM channel manufacturers quoted Rs 32,200-33,000/MT and for 400MM offers are at Rs 33,000-33,600/MT. “All basic prices”.
