CRC scrap prices saw a minor correction in the northern region on 3 Sept’21, while prices remained rangebound in the western and southern regions. Prevailing CRC sheet cutting scrap offers are assessed at INR 39,800-40,200/t at Mandi Gobindgarh. Prices are at INR 36,200-36,600/t in Chennai and at INR 38,000-38,400/t in Jalna, Maharashtra. Turning scrap offers, however, have been reported at INR 32,900-33,300/t and INR 31,900-32,200/t in Jalna and Chennai, respectively, on a DAP basis, excluding GST, market participants informed.
